Our ministry will ring in the New Year with a name change and new features coming to our site in 2026.

Greetings and Happy Holidays to you all,

I want to share with you, our faithful followers and ministry partners, some exciting changes coming to Sozo Freedom Steps in 2026. In the new year, Sozo Freedom Steps will launch under a new ministry name. While our ministry name is changing - we will continue to offer Bethel Sozo ministry, and we will progressively be adding more resources and tools to help you in your journey to healing and wholeness.

When I began doing Sozo ministry, in 2010, I was amazed (and continue to be amazed) by the results we see, but I felt that we needed to follow up with those who needed help to walk out in their newly found freedom in Christ. We felt the need to offer support and, in some cases, additional resources in how to follow Jesus through the process. However, the Lord told me not to pursue anything in that regard until He made a way for us.

In November 2023, I received clear instructions to begin working on the changes the Lord was leading us to make. Initially, the only noticeable change on our ministry website will be the new ministry name. As we move forward into 2026, we will keep you informed of the new things the Lord is doing in the ministry through our newsletter and updates to the site.

To provide our team with a much needed time of rest and rejuvenation, and to prepare for 2026, we will temporarily suspend our booking link from December 15, 2025, until early January 2026, when our new booking module will become operational.

Due to the scope of the transition, it is costing more than we anticipated in both time and money. Please ask the Lord about making a donation before December 23, 2025. This is the latest we can take donations for the 2025 tax year and process them to ensure the donor tax credit.

The Donate button is operational and receiving funds, however, only those given up to, and including, December 23, 2025 are eligible for tax-deductible credit in the 2025 tax year.

All dontations made after that date will be processed under the new tax-exempt ministry organization.
